Staying In

Watch How to Get to Heaven from Belfast

If you loved Derry Girls (who didn’t?!), you’re in for a treat: a new eight-part Irish comedy penned by Lisa McGee is streaming on Netflix from today – but this time it comes with a slice of murder… Centring on three childhood friends now in their late thirties – Saoirse (Roísín Gallagher), Robyn (Sinéad Keenan) and Dara (Caoilfhionn Dunne) – How to Get to Heaven from Belfast opens with an email, informing the trio of the death of their childhood gang’s estranged fourth member, Greta (Natasha O’Keeffe). Desperate to find out exactly what happened to her, this kicks off a series of eerie events which takes the women on a dark and dangerously mysterious odyssey across Ireland, meeting a slew of new faces en route. But they are oh-so-familiar to us, of course: Michelle Fairley, Josh Finan and Emmett J. Scanlan all star – as does Derry Girls star Saoirse Monica Jackson. Watch on Netflix

Send a Love Letter With Claridge’s x Montblanc

Left it a little late to send your love letters for Valentine’s Day? To celebrate the launch of Montblanc’s Meisterstück Romeo & Juliet collection, Claridge’s has transformed its Art Deco lobby into a ‘Poet’s Corner’, where British poet Charlie Child – Claridge’s first-ever Poet-in-Residence – is helping visitors to craft bespoke love notes straight from the heart. Guests can slip their missives into the reimagined Claridge’s & Montblanc Love Letter Box, posting passion to anywhere in the world free of charge. And those with multiple suitors need not worry, there’s no limit on the number of love notes one can send… or indeed a note-to-self is encouraged for single Londoners, too. There are surprise (spoiler alert) performances of Romeo & Juliet in the lobby if you time your visit right, too. 12 February from 2-4pm, 13 February from 3-5pm | Claridge’s Brook Street, Mayfair, London W1K 4HR. claridges.co.uk
