Staying In

Set Up A Fancy Pantry

Kitchen clutter getting you down? Where space allows, decant those boxes of cereal, dishwasher tablets and oven pans into the pantry. ‘Our obsession with back-of-house rooms – and pictures of covetable pantries, sculleries and larders with smart joinery, appealing paint colours, rows of perfectly decanted jars and pretty, skirted counters – has been quietly gathering pace,’ says Hatta Byng. ‘If space allows, a pantry means dirty dishes and messy prep can happen away from the kitchen itself, so you don’t have to hang out among it all and a door can close it off, out of sight.’ She adds that this isn’t just a functional space, but rather a way to show off the orderliness of your home in style. Think glass cabinets, painted woodwork, gingham cottagecore skirts and a classic farmhouse sink in the corner. Read our guide to curating a fancy pantry for more inspiration.

Going Out

Visit Tramp’s Wellness Cafe

Tramp has long had a reputation as Mayfair’s most raucous party hotspot, but the club has done a U-turn and reopened as a members’ wellness space. Helmed by hospitality extraordinaire Luca Maggiora, it’s situated within the former US Embassy in Grosvenor Square and includes a sleek gym, sauna and relaxation space. But for a first glimpse inside, members can visit the cafe which is open now. Naturally, the menu skews towards health: think protein-rich kefir bowls, sweet potato rosti brunch plates, salad bowls and smoothies packed with creatine, collagen and lion's mane. There’s also a pretty outdoor terrace sheltered by trees – perfect for a post-workout lunch. We got a sneak peek at the interiors of the wellness club here.
