The queen of crime is back on the small screen, with a new adaptation of one of Agatha Christie’s lesser-known tales landing on Netflix today. Led by Mia McKenna-Bruce, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials opens in 1925 and centres on amateur sleuth Lady Eileen Brent who is drawn into a fatal mystery that begins as a practical joke. Across three episodes, Bundle’s investigation takes her from the country to the town, meeting gamblers, cops and even a shot stranger with a secret message. Helena Bonham-Carter and Martin Freeman also star, with a quintessentially British backdrop of Bath. Netflix

Find Your Flow At London’s New Wellness Festival

Still trying to settle into the new year? Londoners can welcome the arrival of 2026 at Equanimity, a brand-new wellness festival. Taking place in the heart of King’s Cross, the three-month-long event invites a moment of slowness and mindfulness – set to a packed programme of activities designed to nurture mind, body and soul. ‘Equanimity isn’t just a festival; it’s a state of mind,’ describes Emma Symonds, King’s Cross’ senior events and enlivenment manager. ‘It’s about creating moments of calm and balance amidst the chaos and is the ultimate antidote to the post-Christmas slump for mind, body and soul.’ So, what’s on offer? Visitors can opt for a Scandi-inspired reset with the return of viral pop-up Slomo – think wood-fired saunas, cold plunge pools and ice baths – Decompression Sessions hosted by Self Space, Women’s Circles with healing art practitioner Anna Brooke, and workshops led by expert practitioners on yoga, breathwork, meditation and sound healing. 6 January – 31 March, kingscross.co.uk

Property Of The Day

With images that look like they came out of a resort brochure rather than a property listing, Turtle Tale Estate in the Caribbean’s Turks and Caicos archipelago has us dreaming of sunnier shores. With three private beaches and 1,400 ft of ocean frontage (imagine the Empire State Building lying on its side for a rough idea of length), this might just be paradise on Earth.

On the market for $35m. Find out more at christiesrealestate.com
