Staying In

Watch New Prime Thriller Steal

Picture this: you’re slogging away at your desk when all of a sudden masked men burst through the office doors to carry out a brutal £4bn heist. It’s a terrifying thought – and the premise of Prime’s juicy new thriller, Steal, out today. Leading the cast is Sophie Turner as Zara, a worker at pension fund investment company Lochmill Capital who is forced to execute the thieves’ demands alongside best friend Luke (Archie Madekwe). They’re later identified as key witnesses, and as DCI Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) steps in to unpick the case it soon becomes apparent this is no simple robbery, but a complex web of competing agendas. The suggestion of high-level involvement, plus the detective’s own gambling demons complicates things further. ‘I actually think I brought quite a lot of myself to Zara,’ said Turner. ‘As actors, and people in the public eye, you get used to putting on a front. It’s like the duck paddling furiously underwater and [looking] very smooth on top. That’s how I feel all the time. So with Zara, I got to let out my inner mess.’ Watch on Prime.

Book Between The Covers Live!

Though Between the Covers has sadly lost its TV slot for good, this returning immersive experience brings the book club back off-screen. Hosted at Pennyhill Park in Surrey, Between the Covers Live! is taking place on 6 February this year. The one-day event includes a stellar line-up of literary and entertainment legends: for 2026, the fantasy book club panel will feature comedian and writer Alan Davies, alongside The One Show’s Alex Jones, bestselling author Jojo Moyes, and acclaimed writer Abi Daré – all hosted by TV’s ‘Queen of Books’ Amanda Ross. Guests will be greeted with a relaxed brunch, panel discussion and book signing, as well as a Waterstones pop-up for a cheeky browse through the shelves. The day will then continue with sparkling afternoon tea plus an exclusive Q&A with the stars. And if the all-day experience isn’t enough, check in to Pennyhill Park for an overnight stay. Book here

Whatever You Do, Don’t

Whisk your eggs before scrambling them, says Gordon Ramsay. Instead, crack them into a saucepan with butter and stir with a rubber spatula for 30 seconds before removing them from the heat, then repeat the process. Find the full recipe here.
