The answer is more intimate than you might expect, as C&TH discovered when we asked three interior design luminaries about their network of trusted sources. Because even those at the pinnacle of taste don’t conjure beauty from nothing. They find it, source it, and refine it through time-honoured shops and suppliers who share their vision. For Yinka Ilori, it’s the quirky vintage shops he frequents every weekend. For Beata Heuman, it’s a sixth-generation London paint house that understands the alchemy of natural pigments. Snag A Table At The Fat Badger’s Upcoming Guest Chef Series

Since opening in 2025, The Fat Badger has amassed a real fandom. Its upcoming series of collaboration dinners will make co-conspirators of similarly hyped restaurants. The Notting Hill restaurant, which belongs to The Public House Group (the Pelican, Canteen), will welcome chefs from Camille, Bouchon Racine and Hunan across three one-night-only events. Those already familiar with this foodie spot will know that it favours a set menu format, which the guest kitchen will honour – expect snacks, starters, shared mains and a dessert. Diners at the first dinner (Camille, 6 August) will enjoy a nose-to-tail French menu which includes stuffed trotter and mash, as well as a burnt milk tart.
