Watch The Undeclared War

When The Undeclared War first aired four years ago, it marked the debut of Hannah Khalique-Brown as Saara Parvin – a brilliant young GCHQ coder thrust into a national cyber-espionage crisis. Now, as the show returns for series 2 after a four year break, she takes C&TH behind the scenes. ‘This season explores the conflict between life inside and outside of the agency, and the threats, alliances, and loyalties that are tested on a personal and geopolitical scale,’ Hannah tells us, adding: ‘The series is super prescient and accurate, with real spies consulting on the show!’ The 27-year-old actress stars opposite Simon Pegg who, as we can all imagine, seems to be the joker on set. ‘There was a day where we corpsed so badly that we couldn’t finish this extremely important and serious group scene with all of the Malware characters,’ the star recalls. ‘Simon and I were in tears laughing – I couldn’t look him in the eye. I think we got there in the end but we might look a bit red in the face in that scene. Another standout is running lines with one of my co-stars in a chicken shop in Cardiff at 1am after a long day of filming – it’s a glamorous life!’ All episodes are streaming now on Channel 4.

Check Out Loewe’s Ice Cream Pop-Up

Spanish brand Loewe is bringing its chic style to London with a two-week ice cream pop-up at hotspot The Dreamery in De Beauvoir. The bar is marking Loewe’s new scented candle with a bespoke pistachio gelato flavour, as well as covering the shop’s facade in a pale green hue and offering guests the chance to try the brand’s new gourmand scent. Since being launched in 2024 by Alex Young and George De Vos (the duo behind Goodbye Horses restaurant across the road), The Dreamery has become a cult favourite among North London locals – as well as attracting a string of A-listers, with Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Callum Turner and Charli XCX all visiting for a scoop (served here in a silver coupe, naturally).
