Staying In
Read This Year’s Hottest Book Debut
Pegged as the most anticipated literary debut of 2026, Madeline Cash’s Lost Lambs has finally hit the shelves. The latest in a long line of ‘sister novels’ (perfect for fans of Little Women, Ballet Shoes, Blue Sisters and Hello Beautiful), Lost Lambs follows the story of the three Flynn daughters as they shudder through the disaster of their parents’ recently opened marriage. The eldest is Abigail, currently dating a much older ex-soldier known by the unfortunate nickname of ‘War Crimes Wes’ (major red flag). Then there’s middle-child Louise, who has secret correspondence with an online terrorist. The youngest? Harper. The gifted and talented child, the jewel of the family… that is until her mounting suspicions that someone or something is monitoring the town’s citizens gets her sent away to wilderness reform camp. As rumours of corruption circulate around local billionaire Paul Alabaster, no one other than Harper dares to dig too deep. But as her obsession hurtles the family ever deeper into criminal conspiracy, will her findings bring them closer or further apart? Tuck in to find out.

Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month
February is LGBTQ+ History Month in the UK – a celebration of the history, rights and movements that have helped shape lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Since 2005, this month-long observance has sparked hundreds of events, fundraisers and festivals across the UK, supporting these communities while aiming to challenge prejudice and dismantle lingering preconceptions. There are plenty of events happening across London to celebrate, from walking tours to exhibitions and art talks (pick your favourite here). We will be zipping over to the Chelsea Physic Garden, where the A Dash of Lavender programme returns. Think special garden tours, talks and a new installation. February also marks the launch of a new year-round trail at the garden, exploring queer ecology. chelseaphysicgarden.co.uk
Property Of The Day
In the summer of 1951, a 22-year-old Jackie Kennedy (then Lee Bouvier) and her younger sister were shipped off to Mayfair to kick-start a three-month grand tour of Europe. The first stop? This Grade II listed Mayfair mansion.
