  • Favourite British brand? Elvis & Kresse – it makes luxury products from reclaimed materials and is a role-model positive impact business. 

  • Hero? David Attenborough.

  • Weekend? By the sea where I live in North Norfolk with family and my four dogs, ideally on the water if the tides and weather align.

  • Meal? In my home and at work, the food has to match the wine (rather than the other way round) so it depends what we want to drink. My favourite meal, however, has to be roast turkey with all the trimmings combined with a bottle of top-quality mature claret – if money no object a 1996 Lafite.

  • Shop? My local organic farm shop, Back to the Garden, near Holt in Norfolk.

  • Undiscovered gem? Hambledon vineyard in Hampshire.

  • Idiosyncrasy? Passing the port to the left. Of course at events in our cellars at No.3 we keep glasses nicely topped up – no passing of the port needed!

  • Band? Must be One Direction! I went on the full 1D journey with my youngest daughter.

  • Car? Land Rover Defender.

  • Book? What has Nature Ever Done for Us? How Money Really Does Grow on Trees, by Tony Juniper.
