Is the kitchen island over? Everything we're loving for interiors this Easter.

March 2024 Country & Town House Interiors Newsletter

Dear Reader,

Where will you be cooking Easter lunch? In a tiny kitchen where everything has its place? A sleek, handleless design with ubiquitous island or a kitchen in Shaker-chic?

We’ve put together a host of kitchen designs as well as ideas on how to create a spectacular Easter tablescape. Katerina Mechetina, who founded Truffle Bee, tells us hers will be light pink with green velvet placemats. Mine will be pink, too (to match the colour of my Shaker cabinetry) with Indian block-print tablecloth (an old favourite) and herbs from the garden perched in random-sized bottles. The odd daffodil may find its way in too. I’ll keep my eyes on the food aisles in the supermarket and avoid buying paper decorations or napkins with a cute bunny, which will only end up in the bin. Chocolate on the other hand never goes to waste in my house.

Have a fabulous Easter.
