What's On 20 October

Dear Reader,

Thank god for Jilly. Entering the world of Jilly Cooper is like sipping a caramel latte with a shot of whisky (divine). It’s a tub-thumping read of the finest social commentary that is wicked, sexy, funny and clever yet also supremely loveable. The action takes place in Rutshire – a thinly veiled Cotswolds – and I cannot wait to dive, not this time between the pages, but into the small screen as the hotly anticipated Rivals comes to Disney+. I’m assured there are things that will make us blush (hooray) and that nothing’s been booted out in the name of political correctness (double hooray). One of the screenwriters, Clare Naylor, takes us inside the Jillyverse – and everyone is welcome.

Have a great week.
