Dear Reader,

The reveal of (at least, most of) the cast of Celebrity Traitors (not airing till the autumn) caused much excitement chez moi. My daughter was squealing with delight about Niko Omilana (whom, admittedly, I’d never heard of). I meanwhile – who has yet to spot a winner early on – would not like to take a punt from this epic roll call of names that includes Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Alan Carr and Jonathan Ross, among the men, and Clare Balding, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church and Kate Garraway, among the women. Will Celia’s incredible acting skills see her smile her way ruthlessly to the final round table – or will a young YouTuber trump them all. Whatever happens, this is water-cooler moment TV and I’m all tuned in.
