Dear Reader,

I finished my Roar Fitness three-month Transformation last week – those of you who are regular readers of this newsletter will know I undertook a regime of weight-training and restricted diet (1400 or so calories a day) to get into tip top condition for my upcoming 50th birthday. Well, the results are in – but you’ll have to wait until the September issue drops to see them (subscribe here!). All I can say is that no fitness regime in the past 40 years has come close to getting the results – not just physically but most importantly mentally – that Roar has managed to achieve. Feeling strong in your body cannot help but affect how you feel in your mind; and when the world is in crisis, these times call on us to be warriors, alert and sharp to what’s happening around us, so we don’t all roll over and give up – worse still, not even notice. I’m ready for the next half-century.
