What's On 30 March

Dear Reader,
I’ve signed up for a three-month transformation at Roar. Compelled by this year’s 50th birthday, I’m gripping strength by the dumbbell and putting it front and centre of my (dwindling) fitness regime. It’s going to be unbearably tough. No booze, three sessions a week, measurements of my wobbly bits (of which there are many) and protein, protein, protein. I have to walk at least 10,000 steps a day, drink three litres of water (I probably manage a glass at the moment) and I can’t snack on Monster Munch. I’m terrified. But if I don’t try now, I might slip into permanent comfort padding and stretchy trousers, which is fine, of course, but I’m not ready yet. I start after Easter. Wish me luck.
Have a great week.
