What's On 10 Dec FINAL

Dear Reader,
So Taylor Swift is Time magazine’s person of the year. And ‘Swiftie’ was a runner up in Oxford University Press’s Word of the Year, only to be outranked by ‘rizz’ (listening to Radio 4 presenters talk all things ‘rizz’ raised a smile in my house). Swift was chosen, says Time, because she ‘represents joy’. And joy is much-underrated. It’s why new cult mind and body work-out Sanctum (which pops up in churches in London and is finding a permanent base next year) has hit a beat (Arizona Muse and Tiffanie Darke are fans) – it doesn’t take itself too seriously in a world where wellness can feel like a really stuffy serious place – all hushed tones, pastel colours and turning inwards. Sanctum lets you howl it out and shake it all off along with 100 other people in the room. Are you ready for it?
Have a great week.
